To learn more about Kiewit Offshore please go to **** Responsibilities -Consults with management to facilitate initiatives that support employee performance, engagement and retention while maximizing organizational effectiveness
-Assists management with implementing human resources strategies to meet business objectives and results
-Provide leadership in effectively managing the recruitment and internship processes
-Build and maintain relationships with all levels of employees
-Drive the performance review process for consistency, fairness, timeliness and effectiveness
-Coach line management on people management practices that differentiate the company within the industry
-Evaluate company culture and incorporate human resources processes and programs to accomplish company goals and objectives, and produce outcomes of high retention and performance
-Effectively communicate company benefits programs, such as healthcare and 401(k) that differentiate our company from our competitors
-Direct benefits administration, inclusive of new enrollment and open enrollment processes
-Coordinate the resolution of employee issues that may impact performance and retention
-Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies, i.e. Department of Labor (DOL), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH), in the application and administration of mandates and laws. Work with corporate Human Resources
-Work with Senior Management in creating an understanding climate of expectation and enforcement of company policies, procedures and ethical practices . Qualifications -Experience with recruiting, internship programs, management and organizational development and employee relations
-Ability to integrate core competencies with mentoring and training programs
-Ability to handle confidential information in strict confidence and with great sensitivity
-Understanding of current on federal, state, local, and case law changes and the ability to monitor labor law updates that affect human resources. Serves as Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) specialist

-Undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management or related field

This position requires an individual to roll up their sleeves and contribute while leading the human resources function within this organization.
